Traveling and Training

There a lot of delicious aspects to travel, the most important one, to me, being food! I am always excited to try new things and let my taste buds travel with me! However, it can be hard to do this when you're always guilty about the not-so-clean foods you're eating. You have to understand that a trip is special and you cannot ruin it by constantly worrying about your intake. Remember, healthy eating is a lifestyle, and it needs to be followed most of the time, however, we all need to live and love living! It's important that you let yourself loose when you're on vacation! Of course, depending on how long your vacation is, there may need to be adjustments to your intake.




 Last week, I went to Austin, Texas for the special session of the abortion bill. Well, it turned into five days of eating out for every meal. Did I stress? I'm not going to lie, yes I did, but I realized this is supposed to be a fun trip I took with my friends and I am here to have fun. I came back from vacation, started back up on a low carb diet and here I am! Nothing changed with my body and I do not regret a single thing! Would I have regretted not eating that delicious crepe or that scrumptious burger? Yes! I am happy with my decisions and urge you to relax and enjoy every aspect of life!
